It was a great course from the beginning on day one. Miss Singh was so helpful and took us step by step in all the things we did. Taught us different materials from threading machines to cleaning the machine. I enjoy cutting out different patterns. I learnt a lot and would like to learn more besides just the basics. The basic sewing course was amazing and i'm greatful that I can sew different things using different materials and different patterns.
I learned a lot. I will take the knowledge I have gained from StitchIt and will use it to grow in my future endevours. There is so much I enjoyed about the course. I hope that more people will have access to such courses and learn to start and grow their own businesses.
I have learned a lot from Mrs Singh. She has taught me a lot. She is a great teacher, very strict. I must say i've learnt how to cut, adding cuffs and sewing. Mrs Singh is a motivator, I think in South Africa we need more people like her.
Mrs Singh is a very good teacher, she teaches you all the garments very well. I am very pleased to be taught by Mrs Singh, I learned a lot on my cours. I am very grateful and proud. Thank you Mrs. Singh for the opportunity.
I am honoured to have received this opportunity to learn so much work in 2 months. Thank you Mrs Singh for your time and patience. We look forward to learn even more skills.
This course was truly a blessing and an eye opener because I had no clue on sewing but now I can do a lot of things. The government must continue funding StitchIt so that a lot of women can be empowered and in that way the high rate of unemployment will create and the work we will do well contribute to our economy and as the business grow more people be employed. It's these small sewing business enterprise. Thank you Mrs Singh
The course was beneficial to me. When I first came here I did not know how to use machine and over-locker, threading and taking care of machine. I also learn how to cut patterns, put zips and stitch patches and alterations. Now I can create my own clothes. I was inspired to start my own business.
I have learnt a lot from this course. I came here not having any idea about sewing and surprised myself completing whole garments e.g. Skirts, Children's pants, tops etc. The faciliator (Mrs. Singh) imparted the skills and knowledge professionally and everything was very practical. She was very patient and strict with doing things methodically. I recommend the course for anyone who wishes to gain a sewing skill in a practical way. Thanks to Mrs Singh and the lovely group of "girls" in our class.
The basic sewing course was a lovely worthy experience that kept me motivated and having directed at intended goal. It was not an easy journey but commitment and aspiration put together can be a marvellous achievement ever experienced by me. I really learnt a lot here and I enjoyed much of every moment
